“People need more time and space
for their own thoughts, ideas, and dreams.
To simply sit down with themselves and
get back in touch with their soul and spirit.
My art provides that space.”
BIO
Rebecca Sanders is a self-taught German photo artist. With her mysterious and surreal artworks, the artist explores the unconscious, the world of our dreams, and the invisible layers of our existence. Her untitled and narrative-free photographic works create a contemplative atmosphere in which we can have an intimate inner dialogue with her art—and ourselves.

Instead of pursuing the traditional artistic career path, Rebecca has developed her own exhibition format that she installs upon invitation. Her contemplative exhibitions are immersive experiences focusing on self-exploration, perceptual expansion, and profound dialogues about topics related to the deeper aspects of life and being.
Rebecca does not participate in group exhibitions, art fairs, or art contests, as she rejects the convention of participating in these formats to build a reputation and increase the prices of her art. Her works are currently exclusively available through her online shop.
ARTIST STATEMENT
From a very young age I have been more interested in what lies beneath the surface than in the mundane, and I have always felt like I see the world with very different eyes than the majority of people. I’ve always felt more and seen more—and I experienced phenomena that led me into studying a variety of topics in the field of psychology, metaphysics, and spirituality to make sense out of my very unique way of seeing the world.
From this foundation, my artistic journey emerged—leading me to experiment with various media over the course of a decade. I started with experimental photography and digital manipulation methods, devoted myself to abstract painting, and now turned toward modern methods that allow me to let my personal visions come alive without any restrictions and the necessity of extensive resources. Because for me, art is not about a complex creative process but about using its transformational potential on our mind, soul, and spirit. Therefore, I refrain from talking about art-related topics, choosing to focus on sharing personal reflections, findings, and insights from my explorations of the transcendent dimensions of life and our own being.
