I´m Rebecca, a German artist. My work deals with the search for our true self as well as alternative perspectives on life and reality. It stands for the pursuit of freedom, self-determination, and unhindered, authentic self-realization—based on my personal vision of an ideal society.



My female portraits symbolize the world of

our dreams, the unconscious, as well as the metaphysical and transcendent aspects of our existence. They are an invitation to shift the focus away from the external toward our inner landscapes, and to discover new perspectives on life and our understanding of reality.

My starting point is the rejection of conventional ways of living and thinking and the hierarchical structures of our world. This also applies to my work as a self-taught artist who has chosen to act outside of the institutional art world and the art gallery system.

With my strictly contemplative exhibition format, which I install upon invitation, I create an introspective space in which people can have an undisturbed and intimate inner dialogue with art and themselves.
