Rebecca Sanders is a German photo artist whose work explores the inner dimensions of human experience. Her images move between presence and absence, the visible and the transcendent — creating a quiet tension that resists clear interpretations.

Rather than offering stories, specific meanings or explanations, my work holds space for moments of stillness, presence, and introspection.

This approach extends into my strictly contemplative exhibition format which directs the viewer toward a purely perceptual and inward experience. In this context (and in general), I defy intellectual and art-theoretical conversations & explanations, placing the viewer’s personal engagement at the forefront.
